What is Marcel Afters?

Marcel Afters is an online clothing label for after-hours essentials: heavyweight tees, hoodies, full-zips, sweatshirts, joggers, dresses and activewear, sold at marcelafters.com.

How do Marcel Afters sizes fit?

Most tops are cut loose or oversized with a dropped shoulder. Take your usual size for that relaxed shape, or one size down for a closer fit. If you are between sizes, take the larger one.

Are the clothes unisex?

Most Essentials are unisex, and many styles also have Men's and Women's listings. On unisex styles, women usually take one size down.

How do I find my size?

Every product page has a size table measured with the garment laid flat. Chest is measured pit to pit, so double it for the full chest, and compare it with a piece you already own.

What does gsm mean?

GSM means grams per square metre, the weight of the fabric. A higher number means a denser, heavier garment. Every Marcel Afters product states its own gsm.

How heavy are the tees and hoodies?

Tees run from 150 to 430 gsm, most around 300 gsm. Hoodies are typically about 360 gsm, and the heavyweight full-zip hoodie is 420 gsm.

What are the clothes made of?

Fibre content is listed on every product. Many pieces are 100% cotton; fleece, French terry and performance pieces use cotton-polyester or stretch blends.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is complimentary and tracked on every order, worldwide, with no minimum. Express is optional and priced at checkout where it is offered.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders arrive in 10 to 17 business days, or 8 to 16 in the UK, with tracking sent by email once the order is on its way. If you need it sooner, paid Express is offered at checkout in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and the main EU countries: 4 to 8 business days in the US and UK, 6 to 12 elsewhere.

Where does Marcel Afters ship?

Marcel Afters ships worldwide, with complimentary tracked shipping to every country offered at checkout. Duties and taxes may apply on arrival outside the US and are payable by the recipient.

Can I return or exchange an item?

All sales are final for change of mind, so check the size table before you order. If a piece arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, email hello@marcelafters.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and it will be replaced or refunded.

How long do refunds take?

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days.

How should I wash it?

Machine wash cold, at 30°C or below, on a gentle cycle and inside out. Do not bleach, tumble dry low, iron low and never over artwork, and do not dry clean.
